The project consisted of the enclosure of an open yard as a dining space in Restaurant. The site is a Protected Structure and located immediately adjacent to the National Monument of Ennis Friary. Works had to be agreed with the Office of Public Works, and included an archaeological excavation. This identified works associated with the Friary which were protected. The works were amended to leave the remains undisturbed, with a light weight structure over.

The design reflects the features of the Friary without damaging the existing fabric in any way, and is wholly reversible.
